1 How Does YP DESIGN HOUSE Work?

YP DESIGN HOUSE is a set-fee interior design service that is perfect for the design enthusiast who wants advice from an experienced interior designer without committing to a full-scale contract. Once you select the Online Interior Design package that best fits your needs, you’ll be brought to the survey where you’ll send us your room photos (inspirational images) and measurements (measurement guide), and answer a few simple questions (questionnaire) about your personal design style. We will then review your information and create a comprehensive DIY (do it yourself) design portfolio just for you. Your Personalized Design Portfolio will visually show you what needs to be done to make your home look fabulous. You can print off your portfolio and go shopping, or roll up your sleeves and just get to work. Your dream home really is possible and within easy reaches!

2 How can we re-design your property without seeing it or meeting you personally?

The advances of technology over the last decade have made things very possible for interior designers to work with clients over the internet.  Times are changing and so is the way interior design is performed.  To allow YP DESIGN HOUSE to accurately understand your budget, space, needs and the look you want to achieve, we will ask that you to complete a client questionnaire provide us a rough sketch of the room measurements and photos.  We welcome inspiration photos you’ve found online as well.  The more info you send the better we get to know you and your style preferences.

3 How do I access my design solutions portfolio?

Design Portfolio will be completed roughly 10-14 days after you complete the survey. You will be given access to your own private portfolio page, where you can access your virtual Design Portfolio whenever and wherever it is convenient for you – you can even print it off to show your friends or keep close at hand when you are shopping. You will also have unlimited access to your portfolio after it’s completed.

4 I just have a few decorating questions, can you help?

Yes! Our ANSWER ONLINE service is specifically designed for people who are confident in their home decorating skills but have a few questions that they’d like answered by a professional Interior Designer online. ANSWER ONLINE service specifically answers to each of your individual designing questions.

5. What if I do not want to purchase anything else for my room?

That’s entirely up to you! We ask you upfront what your budget is and we do our best to keep that in mind when making recommendations for your space. However, in most cases additional décor items are the best way to give your room a fresh new look… and really that’s why you are hiring an Interior Designer! Another great idea is to host a decorating swap meet with your friends: get everyone to bring their unwanted décor items to a “Decorating Party” and swap! It’s a great way to clear out your clutter and redecorate without spending a time! Plus it’s a great excuse to get together with your friends and neighbors.

6 What if I do not like the design solutions provided to me?

With YP DESIGN HOUSE you are hiring Interior Designing professionals. We create your comprehensive personalized design based on the answers you provide through our survey .So try it – we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results! If you’re not completely thrilled with your Online Interior Design portfolio, just let us know and we will do everything we can to make it right for you.

7 Can I ask questions if I do not understand my portfolio?

Definitely! Your completed design portfolio is comprehensive and is presented in a format that is easy to understand. With your Online Interior Design portfolio you are provided with a combination of images and written descriptions of the recommended changes so that you have all the information close at hand. 8 Is my personal and financial information safe?

Yes! Your privacy and security are of the utmost importance to us. We use only the most current and secure methods for online transactions and we never, ever give or sell your personal information to third parties.

 

9 I don’t want to spend a lot of money, are there economical design solutions?

Yes! One of the greatest benefits of online designing is that’s its very cost-effective. We have hundreds of economical design solutions and we always try to offer advice based on your budget requirements. We ask you upfront in our survey what you would like to spend on your overall design and we base our design recommendations on your decorating budget.

10 Does your style advice follow current interior design trends?

Yes! Interior design is our passion and our entire Design Team is always following latest interior design trends and fashions! However, we always customize our suggestions to your specifications, so whether you want the latest and greatest or a tried-and-true design we can help create your ideal space based on your dreams.

11 Can we hire you to do more in-depth design work for us?

Our Online Interior Design and Hourly Cosultation services is a division of our comprehensive full-service interior design firm, YP DESIGN HOUSE .

If you would like us to implement or expand your plan, or undertake any additional design work, the seamless collaboration of our two different services allows us to easily do so. However, there is never any obligation to engage us for additional services.

12 Can I buy a online interior design gift for someone?

Absolutely. Our Online Interior Design and Hourly consultation services makes the perfect gift for friends, family or business associates, and is great for any occasion including housewarmings, new baby, weddings, birthdays, Mother's Day, and more.

13 Do you do residential design work only?

You can purchase a YP DESIGN HOUSE consultation for a residence, commercial office, retail store and any other design venue you would like to pursue.

14 Can we make more than one Onlie Design Services appointment?

Yes. Some of our clients focus just on one aspect of their project at a time. For example, we can choose all the paint colors for the home during one session, and draperies or furniture selection at another. Other clients want us to spend a session shopping with them for furniture or accessories. Also, if you are looking at several new home choices we can help you envision the design possibilities of each. We will focus on any aspect of design you wish to explore.

15 How do you get to know each client if you’ve never met them?

The more information a potential client sends us, the more we get to know their needs, tastes, and challenges for their room. In addition to measurements of the space and a completed questionnaire, we welcome tear sheets from magazines and the internet, photos of other rooms in your home, swatches of fabrics and colors you love…anything that will tell us more about you.

16 Can you incorporate some of my existing furniture?

We always do our best to incorporate a client’s treasured piece.  We will need images and measurements, and if it’s an upholstered piece and you have access to the fabric that was used, a swatch of the fabric.  We may also suggest a new fabric if the original doesn’t work with the new scheme.

17 If I have questions about my YP DESIGN HOUSE portfolio after I have received it, will someone help me?

If you have questions about your design, please let us know.  we want you to be happy, and we will always do our best to help you fully understand everything we’ve sent.

18 I don’t know what service to order.  Can you help?  

Of course! You might consider starting with our Room Review Service / Evaluation. 

If you would like us to give you our professional evaluation of the space prior to ordering any of our services, we offer a Room Review Service on our Online Interior Design Packages .We will analyze your room and help you figure out how it could look better. You will receive an evaluation with three suggestions on what can be improved. The best part is that your full service fee will be credited toward the purchase our Complete Design Package. You may also send us an email and we can help determine the design service that will best suit your specific needs.

19 I am nervous about placing an order with an online design company. Can I talk to a live person first?

20 What if I need my room design really fast?

If you would like your room design completed immediately, we offer a Rush Service for a guaranteed turnaround time of one week.  This is a great opportunity to have your room transformed before a fast approaching holiday, out of town guests or any other special reason. Your room will be designed and sent to you within one week of our receipt of your information (questionnaire, photos and room dimensions).
